Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National Park is truly a mountaineer's playground. With Rocky Mountain National Park home to world-class cragging on Lumpy Ridge; big wall climbing on Longs Peak, Hallett Peak and Chiefs Head Peak; great alpine ice climbing in routes like Alexanders Chimney, All Mixed Up, Hallett Chimney; tons of snow-filled couloirs like Dragon's Tail Couloir and Chaos Couloir; countless alpine rock climbs and scrambles; and endless hiking opportunities the possibilities are limitless.

With Glacier Gorge Trailhead, Bear Lake Trailhead and Longs Peak Trailhead not much more than an hour's drive from my doorstep I consider "the park" home turf (and where I end up more often than not).
