When I first started going for summits my primary focus was fourteeners. Like so many novice hikers I had the goal to climb them all. This focus on the fourteeners quickly passed as I began to familiarize myself with the ranges of Colorado and began to seek out more and more interesting routes. Now, I would still like to climb them all some day, but I'm in no big hurry anymore. I might leave the mundane ones (like most of the Sawatch Range) until I'm an old, wrinkled dude incapable of climbing anything more interesting.
